My wife and I own about 50 vintage animated store display characters that range from the 1940’s to 1970’s. A local Marietta, Ohio Bank (Peoples Bank) contracted with us to share our collection. We set up vintage-style window displays in 7 huge plate glass windows for the Holiday Season. You can barely hear the old-style Christmas Music playing in the background. Plans are being made for the Christmas 2007 Display. Enjoy!

2009 – Saks Fifth Avenue Christmas Display
The speakers Saks setup really doesn’t do this modern arrangement of “Carol of the Bells” justice. Since The Audacity Works group posted a link to their original composition, I’ve created a new video using that audio instead. The clearer music really brings the display to life.

There are a number of neighborhoods, as well as individual houses, in the OC for viewing. Depending on where you live, there may be one near you. In north OC, in Brea, one neighborhood between Lambert and Birch, just east of Kramer always has a great show and neighborhood support. Traffic gets pretty bad weekend nights, so be aware.

This display has over 80,000 LED & incandescent lights sychronized to the song Carol of the Bells. This was possible using Light-O-Rama software and controller boxes – 280 channels in all were used to control the lights.

I’ve heard of some displays where you can turn your radio to a certain frequency to hear the music that goes along with the blinking of the lights, etc. I’d love to see some of these. Thanks!
Beacause you didn’t put your lights up yet. You can do it if you feel it is needed or wanted then it is a very good project for you and your family
