How do I hang up Christmas lights and garland around the house without hurting the walls?
I want to do some Christmas decorating inside the house but I don’t know how to hang the lights and garland and such without a staple gun.
Also how do you hang the wreath on the door? Do most people do the wreath inside or outside? Thanks.
They make these hooks now that you can stick on your walls and it doesn’t mess them up when you take them off. I can’t remember the name of them but I’ve seen them in Home Depot, Ace, and Lowes so far. We hang the wreath inside so it won’t blow away or get rained on.
Edit: The brand is Command I believe.

outside for the wreath, but there are all different sorts of hooks and velcro pieces that are sticky on one side that great for walls without peeling paint or putting holes in the wall. try walmart or some place like it and they will have them where you find all the screws and nails and stuff. i use them for pictures and all sorts of little decorations all around the house

Go to your local department store and look for those wall fasteners that have a kind of putty on the back with a peel off on the back. They make hooks and clips like this. Also good old fashioned tape rolled up works if the garland is not too heavy. Also you can utilize things already hanging up like curtain rod holders, pictures, shelves etc. to drape garland over and loop up to the next one. I always put my wreath on the outside and hang some little jingle bells on the door inside. Good Luck and Merry Christmas!
