Does anyone know of any Christmas light displays around the Houston area?
Looking for drive thru Christmas light parks, or neighborhoods that are worth driving through. We live in The Woodlands, TX ( north of Houston) but anywhere relatively close to that is great!
Know of anywhere?

Prestonwood is a neighborhood off of Senate that all of the neighbors co-ordinate the decorations and do a beautiful job. There is usually a theme.
Jersey Village has some nice decorations too. Watch for the Lights in the Heights dates as well.

FOR SURE THIS IS THE BEST PLACE AND RELATIVELY CLOSE TO YOU:
PRESTONWOOD SUBDIVISION
This is a great place to cruise with your family and friends and see all the extreme Christmas lights and decorations in this united subdivision. Every street has a different theme and almost every house partakes in this December-long event. A few of the houses are so heavily lighted, you can see them from space.
Real Estate agents report that when a house is sold, the previous owner leaves the themed decorations for the new neighbor so as not to break tradition.
Put Christmas music on the radio, turn off the headlights and cruise through the neighborhood. If the weather permits, roll down the windows, some families even pass out candies to the kiddos.
Directions: Take 249 South from The Woodlands and exit Cypresswood Drive; Turn left (east) on Cypresswood to the Prestonwood Drive entrance on your right (south). There you are! Enjoy!
