Galeries Lafayette Christmas window displays 08/09
Window displays of the famous department store in Paris during the 2008-2009 Christmas season. Originally accompanied with audio by Claude Debussy- Clair de Lune (the light show and by complete coincidence, the lights were completely in-sync with the music, the rhythm and so on), performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra and Jacques Offenbach’s “Couplets d’Olympia” sung by the lovely and quirky Patricia Petibon.
Unfortunately, after all my hard work of editing and picking the perfect music, the audio has been disabled. Both of the pieces can be found on youtube on their own, so it’s kind of sad my video is deprived of a chance to use them while others aren’t. Well, it’s out of my hands.
Here’s a link to Debussy’s piece: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aWeQL3LD9g
and Offenbach’s:
Use your imagination and put the three together =).
