The Best Christmas Lights

Where can I find great Christmas light displays in Lexington Kentucky?

I don’t want to go out to the "Southern Lights" display, I’m looking for something a little closer to downtown and free. I want to take my fiance out tonight on a lights tour, he loves seeing christmas lights.

Anyone have any suggestions for good neighborhoods where there are a lot of lights?

Firehouse #20, 3001 Arrowhead Drive (off Harrodsburg Rd.), has a light show and music. You can park in the dive way or bank parking lot across the street. Listen to the music or get out and watch the kids dance and play in the firehouse drive way.
Heartland (off Tates Creek Rd.) has a good reputation for lights.
The Herald-Leader will usually run a story sometime before Christmas about notable houses in the area.
My kids (and me too) like going to the store displays, esp. Lowes, because they can see the lights, push buttons on the musical and animated displays, and generally get up close to decorations.
Little fun thing, Joseph-Beth’s Santa photo area is set up that adults can get pictures with Santa too. Very nice fireside setup.
