When precisely do radio stations stop playing Christmas music?
Obviously they tend to stop after Christmas, but I wonder if there’s a tradition of stopping on Christmas night at midnight, for example. Do any keep playing X-mas music well after the 25th?
I don’t listen to the radio, but I would imagine the day after, on the 26th, they stop playing Christmas music. I’m answering your question on the 29th. I’m at the public library, and I picked up a Christmas cd on hold….Faith Hill’s "Joy to the World"….I listened to it and will listen to it tomorrow and then return it….just not the same listening to Christmas music after the holiday as it is before the holiday.

Probably depends on the station.
Many of Christian Stations will still play Christmas Music until 1/6 which is the last day of Christmas – celebrating the arrival of the Kings.
