Who actually listens to Christmas music this early in the year?

One of our local stations started playing Christmas music 2 1/2 weeks ago! Do some people actually like listening to it this early? It drives me crazy! I don’t even want to think about Christmas yet!

Who listens to Christmas music?

All those poor saps in retail department stores!

I was one of them last year, it began in October *weeps*

    apperently a lot of people i know waht you mean its said that corps are doing xmas stuff earlier this year i have no idea why we havent even passed thanksgiving yet for crying out loud!

    It’s tooo early! The store I work for, had Christmas items out before the jack o’lantern was carved. I don’t want to think about it for over 3 months either. Thank goodness they won’t start the overhead takeover of the PA system until the day after Thanksgiving.

    It is nice to hear Bing Crosby sing Christmas songs.i am sending a picture of my friends posing for a crazy pic. It will be a funny christmas pic. My husband will be dressed as Santa and I will be Mrs Clause in a cute red velvet mini dress giving each other a kiss. my next door neighbor will wear the antlers and be rudolph. His wife wants to be an elf! Fun Fun Fun! the Antlers are from a MOOSE!

    I do think it’s sort of early…it’s not even December yet and Thanksgiving hasn’t even passed. But unfortunately I have to put up with that too because we are already starting to sing Christmas songs for our next choir concert.

    I love Christmas, but we don’t start decorating or listening to Christmas music until after Halloween. It would seem awkward for us if we did since our neighbors are huge Halloween fans. We’ve now started playing some calming Christmas music in the house but no decorations yet; that’s for December. Still, we can’t wait for the festive celebrations to begin! Can’t blame others for wanting to start earlier :)

    I love that album…

    Also they are starting it now because music companies simply cannot market Thanksgiving!

    Yes indeed, I do! I love Christmas music. I think it’s best to start thinking about it early, you avoid a total mental overload in December/on Black Friday.
