I want a digital camera for Christmas, one that takes pics AND lets me make videos and put them onthe computer
like on youtube, can you paste me a link to a camera that would do that? Thanks!

I heard JVC is a great brand!
I agree with Elvis the moose, most cameras do allow you to take photos and movies/clips. Then from there, just paste onto YouTube!
Anyway, here’s a link to JVC. On this link, there will be some tabs at the top of the webpage – Everio Hybrid Camera, Everio High Definition etc. Feel free to take a look at the cameras! I’d say there is a high chance finding what you want! Most maybe all the camcorders on this site take digital stills.
I am not going to make any recommendations to you, just bare in mind it’s your choice on what camcorder you want and which one best suits your budget! The only thing I am going to say is stay away from the VHSC tab, these cameras are not likely to take digital stills!
The Everio Hybrid Camcorders and 1 of the High Definition Cameras off a HDD (Hard Disk Drive) which is like what your computer uses to store it’s/your documents and files on. The camcorder uses this same process (Only the ones I listed b4)
so you can store hours of footage/still photos on it’s Hard Disk which means you won’t have to buy any more tapes or mini DVD discs! The High Definition Camcorder is of course, the one that takes high quality footage, like a HDTV, but of course is more expensive than the Hybrid Cam.

P.S: If you want, you can always buy a digital camera (which in general takes stills) since most offer the abillity to take minor video clips like 5 minutes depending on the size of your memory card! 1GB SD Card etc
